Indian Army में law graduates के लिए officer बनने का एक महत्वपूर्ण अवसर खुला है। JAG Entry Scheme 125th Course, April 2027 के तहत unmarried male और female law graduates से Short Service Commission के लिए online applications मांगी गई हैं।
इस entry में पुरुष और महिलाओं के लिए अलग-अलग नहीं, बल्कि कुल 10 combined vacancies हैं। Candidate के पास LLB degree में कम से कम 55% aggregate marks होने चाहिए और CLAT PG 2026 score mandatory है। Online application 17 July 2026 को 3:00 PM से शुरू हुई है और 17 August 2026 को 3:00 PM पर बंद होगी।
यह केवल सामान्य recruitment notification नहीं है। JAG Entry के जरिए selected law graduates Army की Judge Advocate General Branch में commissioned officer के रूप में career शुरू कर सकते हैं।
Indian Army JAG Entry 125th Course क्या है?
JAG का full form Judge Advocate General है।
यह Indian Army की legal branch है, जहां commissioned officers military law, disciplinary matters और विभिन्न legal responsibilities से जुड़े कार्य करते हैं।
JAG Entry Scheme 125th Course के लिए unmarried male और female law graduates को Short Service Commission दिया जाएगा। Selected candidates April 2027 से Officers Training Academy, Chennai में pre-commission training करेंगे।
इस entry की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि candidate केवल law graduate नहीं होना चाहिए। उसे age, academic marks, CLAT PG score, Bar Council eligibility, SSB और medical requirements भी पूरी करनी होंगी।
JAG 125 Entry में कितनी vacancies हैं?
Official notification में:
10 combined vacancies for men and women
दी गई हैं।
इसका मतलब पुरुषों के लिए 10 और महिलाओं के लिए 10 vacancies नहीं हैं।
Total vacancies केवल 10 हैं।
यह detail बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि इससे competition का स्तर समझ में आता है।
SSB में recommended होना भी final selection की guarantee नहीं है। Candidate को medical fitness के साथ final merit list में उपलब्ध 10 vacancies के भीतर आना होगा।
JAG Entry 125 के लिए age limit क्या है?
Candidate की age 1 January 2027 को 21 से 27 years के बीच होनी चाहिए।
Eligible date of birth range:
2 January 2000 से 1 January 2006 तक
दोनों dates inclusive हैं।
Date of birth वही स्वीकार की जाएगी जो candidate के Matriculation या Secondary School Examination Certificate में दर्ज है।
Application submit करने के बाद DOB change करने की request स्वीकार नहीं की जाएगी।
Educational qualification क्या चाहिए?
Candidate के पास recognised institution से LLB degree होनी चाहिए।
Minimum requirement:
LLB में 55% aggregate marks
LLB इनमें से किसी route से हो सकती है:
- Graduation के बाद 3-year professional LLB
- 10+2 के बाद 5-year LLB
Candidate का college या university Bar Council of India recognised होना चाहिए और candidate advocate के रूप में Bar Council of India या State Bar Council में registration के लिए eligible होना चाहिए।
क्या final-year LLB students apply कर सकते हैं?
यह notification का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण eligibility point है।
Official document साफ कहता है कि केवल वे candidates apply कर सकते हैं जिनके पास:
- LLB degree
- LLB marksheet
already available हो।
इसलिए ऐसे सामान्य final-year students जिनका final result या degree अभी जारी नहीं हुई है, notification की इस condition को पूरा नहीं करते।
Candidate को application से पहले यह जरूर verify करना चाहिए कि उसके पास required degree और marksheets उपलब्ध हैं।
CLAT PG 2026 क्यों mandatory है?
JAG 125 Entry में CLAT PG optional नहीं है।
हर candidate को CLAT PG 2026 में appear किया होना चाहिए।
यह वही CLAT PG examination है जो December 2025 में आयोजित हुआ था।
Notification स्पष्ट करता है कि किसी अन्य CLAT PG examination का score इस course के लिए स्वीकार नहीं होगा।
यह requirement:

CLAT PG score selection में कितना important है?
CLAT PG score primarily application shortlisting में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है।
Notification highlights के अनुसार SSB shortlisting CLAT PG score के आधार पर की जाएगी। Shortlisting उपलब्ध vacancies और call-up ratio से भी जुड़ी होगी।
लेकिन एक महत्वपूर्ण clarification:

SSB कहां होगा?
SSB इन Selection Centres पर आयोजित किया जा सकता है:

- Jalandhar
Candidate available options में centre और date first come, first serve basis पर select करेगा।
एक बार date और centre select होने के बाद सामान्यतः change request स्वीकार नहीं होगी। Recruiting Directorate exceptional circumstances में allocation बदल सकता है।
SSB कितने दिन का होगा?
SSB की duration लगभग five days है।
Candidate को two-stage selection procedure से गुजरना होगा।
Stage I:
जो candidates qualify करेंगे वे Stage II में जाएंगे।
Stage I unsuccessful:
Candidate को first day ही वापस भेजा जा सकता है।
Stage II recommended candidates:
इसके बाद medical examination होगा।
क्या SSB clear करने से selection confirm हो जाएगा?
नहीं।
यह शायद recruitment का सबसे important misconception है।
Official notification स्पष्ट करता है कि:
Mere qualifying at SSB does not confirm final selection.
Final merit list SSB में मिले marks के आधार पर तैयार की जाएगी।
अगर दो candidates के SSB marks समान हों:
- Older candidate को higher merit मिलेगी
- Age भी same होने पर qualifying examination में higher percentage वाला candidate ऊपर रखा जाएगा
Higher educational qualification या previous performance को separate merit advantage नहीं दिया गया है।
Training कहां और कितने समय की होगी?
Selected candidates को:
Officers Training Academy, Chennai
भेजा जाएगा।
Training duration:
49 weeks
होगी।
Training सफलतापूर्वक पूरा करने के बाद candidate commissioned officer बनेगा।
इसके साथ University of Madras द्वारा:
Post Graduate Diploma in Defence Management and Strategic Studies
भी दिया जाएगा।
Training के दौरान कितना stipend मिलेगा?
OTA Chennai में training के दौरान Gentleman और Lady Cadets को:
₹56,100 per month
fixed stipend मिलेगा।
लेकिन इसे commissioned officer की final salary के साथ confuse नहीं करना चाहिए।
Training period को commissioned service नहीं माना जाएगा।
Commissioning के बाद salary कितनी होगी?
Training successfully complete करने के बाद initial rank होगा:

Lieutenant का Pay Matrix:
Level 10 — ₹56,100 से ₹1,77,500

Candidates को SSB preparation के साथ physical fitness पर भी पहले से काम करना चाहिए।
क्या candidate application के बाद शादी कर सकता है?
नहीं।
Candidates को training complete होने तक unmarried रहना होगा।
यदि candidate application submit करने के बाद शादी करता है, तो SSB और medical clear करने के बावजूद उसे training के लिए eligible नहीं माना जाएगा।
Training के दौरान शादी करने पर candidate को academy से withdraw किया जा सकता है और Government द्वारा किए गए training expenditure की recovery भी हो सकती है।
यह condition application भरने से पहले ध्यान से समझना जरूरी है।
Short Service Commission कितने वर्षों का होगा?
Selected officers को initially:
10 years
के लिए Short Service Commission दिया जाएगा।
इसे आगे:
4 additional years
तक extend किया जा सकता है।
इस प्रकार maximum normal tenure:
14 years
हो सकता है।
क्या Permanent Commission मिल सकता है?
10th year में eligible और suitable SSC officers को prevailing policy के अनुसार Permanent Commission के लिए consider किया जा सकता है।
लेकिन Permanent Commission:
- automatic नहीं है

- organisational requirements
- applicable policy
पर depend करेगा।
क्या पांच साल बाद Army छोड़ सकते हैं?
Special provision के तहत officer fifth year में release के लिए Army Headquarters को apply कर सकता है।
लेकिन यह automatic exit option नहीं है।
Army Headquarters application को merit पर consider करेगा और उसका decision final होगा। Specialised courses करने वाले officers के लिए अलग bond और training-cost recovery conditions लागू हो सकती हैं।
Application कैसे करें?
Applications केवल:

Notification साफ कहता है:
सामान्य DigiLocker certificates को original certificates के स्थान पर स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा।
यदि school, college या university physical certificate issue ही नहीं करता, तो candidate को institution से certificate लेना होगा कि केवल electronic certificate issue किया गया है।
ऐसे case में authenticated colour printout required हो सकता है।
किन गलतियों से candidature cancel हो सकती है?
Candidates के लिए यह सबसे practical section है।
इन mistakes से बचना जरूरी है:
- Multiple applications submit करना
- Name mismatch
- Father या mother name mismatch
- Date of birth mismatch
- Incorrect CGPA conversion
- CLAT PG result verify न करवाना
- Required original documents न ले जाना

Training cost candidate को देना होगा?
Normal circumstances में training का पूरा खर्च Government उठाती है।
लेकिन अगर candidate medical grounds या उसके control से बाहर कारणों के अलावा personal reasons से training छोड़ता है, तो उससे approximately:
₹20,482 per week
की rate से training cost recover की जा सकती है, जैसा notification में 2026 के लिए बताया गया है।
Army Group Insurance कितना है?
Training के दौरान stipend receive करने वाले Gentlemen और Lady Cadets को:
₹1.25 crore insurance
cover बताया गया है।
इसके लिए monthly AGIF subscription:
₹12,500
advance में देना होगा, subject to applicable scheme rules।
First-time SSB candidate को travelling allowance मिलेगा?
Particular type of commission के लिए पहली बार SSB interview देने वाले candidate को applicable conditions के तहत:
- AC 3-tier railway fare
- या bus fare
का entitlement हो सकता है।
Same type of commission के subsequent attempts के लिए TA available नहीं होगा।
