GDA Madhuban Bapudham Lottery 2026: 42,500+ applicants for 350 plots, live e-lottery on 19–20 August

The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is set to conduct the computerised e-lottery for 350 residential plots under the Madhuban Bapudham Residential Scheme 2026 on 19 and 20 August at Hindi Bhawan, Lohia Nagar, Ghaziabad. GDA’s official website currently lists the e-lottery notice for Scheme Code 935 and separate live-viewing links for both draw dates.

The scale of demand makes this draw especially significant. More than 42,500 applications were received for just 350 plots; one report puts the exact number at 42,511 applications. That works out to an average of roughly 121 applications for every available plot, although an individual applicant’s actual prospects will differ by category, eligibility and the number of applications competing for a specific pool.

The official GDA public-notice section lists the e-lottery draw notice for 350 residential plots, while current GDA pages display separate “Watch Live” links for the 19 August and 20 August draws.

When will each category be drawn?

According to the published draw information, the lottery is divided across two days.

19 August 2026 — 11:30 AM

E-lottery for reported categories:

A | B | C | D

20 August 2026 — 11:30 AM

E-lottery for reported categories/pockets:

E | F | G | H

Venue on both days: Hindi Bhawan, Lohia Nagar, Ghaziabad.

Applicants should check their applicable category against the official GDA notice rather than relying only on social-media messages.

Why are 42,500 applications for 350 plots important?

The response to the scheme is far higher than the available inventory.

With 42,511 applications reported for 350 plots, there are approximately 121 applicants per plot on an overall-average basis.

However, this should not be interpreted as every applicant having exactly a 1-in-121 chance.

The actual draw operates through separate categories and eligible applicant pools. The number of eligible applicants competing for a particular category can therefore be different from the overall average.

What the number does show clearly is the level of demand for GDA-developed residential plots in Ghaziabad.

How can applicants watch the GDA lottery live?

GDA has introduced live viewing because physical attendance by tens of thousands of applicants would not be practical.

The authority’s website currently displays separate links to watch the:

19 August 2026 E-Lottery Draw

and

20 August 2026 E-Lottery Draw.

Applicants can use the official stream on a mobile, laptop or smart TV. The lottery itself is still conducted by GDA; applicants are only watching the proceedings remotely.

Important

Use only links published through the official Ghaziabad Development Authority website.

GDA officials have specifically advised applicants not to rely on rumours or unofficial information related to the lottery.

How does the computerised e-lottery work?

The process can be understood simply:

Application submitted

↓

Eligibility / applicant verification

↓

Eligible applicants placed in relevant draw category

↓

Computerised e-lottery

↓

Successful applicants selected

↓

Official result / further allotment process

The draw is therefore not first-come-first-served. Selection among eligible applicants is carried out through the notified e-lottery system. GDA has said the process is being conducted with transparency and official digital access for applicants.

What should successful applicants do after the draw?

Getting selected in the lottery is an important step, but applicants should not assume that the entire allotment process ends with their name appearing in the draw.

A successful applicant should immediately verify:

  • Applicant name and registration details
  • Plot number
  • Plot size/category
  • Official allotment communication
  • Next payment requirement
  • Payment deadline
  • Documents required by GDA
  • Terms applicable to final allotment

The original scheme brochure remains available in GDA’s official scheme archive, so successful applicants should follow the payment and allotment conditions stated there rather than relying on informal advice.

What if your name is not selected?

Unsuccessful applicants should wait for GDA’s official result and follow the scheme terms for any refund or further process applicable to their application.

Do not assume a refund date based on messages circulating online unless GDA has formally notified it.

Applicants should monitor:

GDA official draw results → scheme notice → refund/allotment instructions

GDA maintains a dedicated Draw Results section for lottery outcomes.

Do not trust fake lottery-result links

With more than 42,500 applicants waiting for results, applicants should be careful about messages claiming:

“Your plot is confirmed”

“Pay now to secure allotment”

or

“We can influence the lottery.”

GDA has advised applicants to depend on official information and not believe misleading claims about the draw.

No genuine applicant should treat a WhatsApp message, unofficial YouTube stream or third-party screenshot as final proof of allotment.

Why has Madhuban Bapudham attracted such strong demand?

The original 2026 scheme offered 350 residential plots ranging from around 40 sq m to 200 sq m, with a reported base rate of ₹35,000 per sq m.

The combination of authority-developed plots, NCR location and limited inventory appears to have generated strong applicant interest.

However, heavy demand during a lottery should not automatically be interpreted as guaranteed investment appreciation.

For a successful allottee, future value will still depend on factors such as:

exact plot location, surrounding development, infrastructure, road access, possession conditions and future market demand.

The GDA Madhuban Bapudham e-lottery for 350 residential plots will be conducted on 19 and 20 August 2026 from 11:30 AM at Hindi Bhawan, Ghaziabad, with applicants able to watch the proceedings through GDA’s official live-stream links.

More than 42,500 applicants are competing for the limited plot inventory, making this one of the most closely watched stages of the scheme.

For applicants, the most important rule is simple:

Watch the lottery through GDA, check the result through GDA and make any further payment only according to official GDA instructions.
