Allahabad High Court recruitment 2026: 543 RO, ARO and Computer Assistant posts announced!

For thousands of government job aspirants, a recruitment notice is not just a PDF. It is a deadline, a chance, and sometimes, months of preparation finally finding a direction.

The High Court of Judicature at Allahabad has released the notification for Review Officer, Assistant Review Officer and Computer Assistant Recruitment Examination 2026. The official recruitment notice is dated 1 June 2026, and the last date to submit the online application is 21 June 2026.

This recruitment is important because it is not limited to one post. It includes vacancies for Review Officer, Assistant Review Officer and Computer Assistant, making it useful for graduates, computer-qualified candidates and aspirants looking for stable government employment in a court establishment.

The application window is short. Online applications are open from 1 June 2026 to 21 June 2026, and the last date for fee payment is 22 June 2026. Candidates should not wait for the final day because last-minute application pressure, server load, fee payment failure or document-upload mistakes can create unnecessary problems.

What posts have been announced?

The advertisement lists three posts.

The first post is Review Officer, with 138 vacancies. The pay scale is shown as Level-8, ₹47,600 to ₹1,51,100 as per the 7th Pay Commission. The age limit is 21 to 35 years as on 1 July 2026.

The second post is Assistant Review Officer, with 380 vacancies. The pay scale is Level-7, ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400, and the age limit is also 21 to 35 years as on 1 July 2026.

The third post is Computer Assistant, with 25 vacancies. The pay scale is Level-4, ₹25,500 to ₹81,100. For this post, the age limit is 18 to 35 years as on 1 July 2026.

Together, the recruitment notice shows 543 total vacancies. Candidates should remember that the advertisement also says the number of vacancies may increase or decrease.

The vacancy distribution clearly shows that Assistant Review Officer has the highest number of vacancies, followed by Review Officer and Computer Assistant. This is important for candidates because it helps them understand where the largest opportunity lies. However, candidates should not choose a post only by vacancy count. They should also check eligibility, age limit, qualification and exam requirements.

The pay scale difference also matters. Review Officer is the highest pay-level post among the three, followed by Assistant Review Officer and Computer Assistant. This makes RO and ARO attractive for many candidates, but the competition may also be stronger because of the pay level and nature of the post.

Why this recruitment matters?

This recruitment matters because High Court jobs usually attract candidates looking for stable government service, administrative office work, computer-based roles, documentation responsibilities and institutional career growth.

These are not field jobs. These are court-establishment posts where accuracy, computer knowledge, typing skill, record handling and attention to detail matter.

For a graduate candidate with computer qualification and typing ability, this notification can be a meaningful opportunity. But it should not be treated casually. The qualification requirements are very specific and candidates must read them carefully before applying.

What are the educational and computer qualifications?

The advertisement says candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a university established by law in India, or an equivalent recognised qualification.

Along with this, the notice mentions computer-related qualification requirements. These include a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science from a recognised institution or university, or an O Level certificate from NIELIT/DOEACC, or a CCC certificate in Computer Science from a recognised institute.

Candidates should also have knowledge of data entry, word processing and computer operation. The advertisement also mentions a minimum English typing speed of 25 words per minute on computer.

This is where many candidates make mistakes. They look only at the number of vacancies and pay scale, but ignore the computer certificate and typing requirement. For this recruitment, computer qualification is not a side point. It is central to eligibility.

The eligibility checklist should be read before filling the form. Candidates should confirm their degree, computer certificate, data entry knowledge, word processing ability and typing speed. Applying without checking these points can create problems later during verification or selection stages.

What is the age limit?

The age limit is not exactly the same for all posts.

For Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer, the minimum age is 21 years, and the maximum age is 35 years as on 1 July 2026.

For Computer Assistant, the minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 35 years as on 1 July 2026.

This age-limit difference is important. Some younger candidates may be eligible for Computer Assistant but not for Review Officer or Assistant Review Officer. So candidates should check the post-wise age condition before applying.

The advertisement also mentions that the maximum age limit for eligible SC, ST and other category candidates of Uttar Pradesh shall be enhanced as per applicable rules. Candidates claiming age relaxation should read the detailed advertisement and keep valid category documents ready.

Why candidates should not depend only on social media updates?

Most job updates on social media only highlight three things: total vacancies, last date and salary. But official recruitment is never that simple.

A candidate must check:

Whether the post matches his or her age.

Whether the Bachelor’s Degree qualification is fulfilled.

Whether the computer certificate is valid.

Whether typing speed requirement can be met.

Whether category reservation is applicable.

Whether the application is being submitted through the official portal only.

Whether fee payment confirmation is saved.

This is why the official advertisement matters more than a short news post or forwarded message.

Application fee and official websites

The fee mentioned in the advertisement is ₹1,200 for General and OBC candidates for each post, excluding bank charges. For SC, ST and EWS candidates of Uttar Pradesh, the fee is ₹1,000 for each post, excluding bank charges.

Candidates belonging to horizontal category must pay fees according to their original category.

Candidates should apply only through official sources. The recruitment notice mentions the official Allahabad High Court website and the NTA recruitment portal. Applicants should avoid unofficial links, fake job portals and social media forms.

What should candidates do now?

Candidates should first download the official advertisement from the Allahabad High Court recruitment page or the NTA recruitment page. After that, they should read the post-wise details carefully.

Before applying, candidates should keep these ready:

Bachelor’s Degree details
Computer qualification certificate
Category certificate, if applicable
Valid ID proof
Photograph and signature
Email ID and mobile number
Fee payment method
Typing skill preparation plan

This recruitment can be a strong opportunity, but only for candidates who approach it carefully. Government recruitment is not only about filling a form. It is about reading the rules line by line.

Final takeaway

The Allahabad High Court RO, ARO and Computer Assistant Recruitment 2026 is a major opportunity for eligible candidates. With 543 total vacancies, pay levels under the 7th Pay Commission, and an application deadline of 21 June 2026, candidates should not delay.

But the most important message is this: do not apply only after reading social media posts or short job updates. Download the official advertisement, check your eligibility, verify the computer and typing requirements, and apply only through the official portal.

For serious aspirants, this is the time to act with clarity, not confusion.
