Defence pensioners and family pensioners in and around Bengaluru will get a special opportunity to resolve SPARSH-related pension issues and submit their Digital Life Certificate (DLC) at a two-day outreach programme being organised by PCDA Bengaluru.
The programme will be held on 4 and 5 November 2026, from 10 AM to 5 PM, at the Multi-Purpose Hall, PCDA Bengaluru, 107 Lower Agaram Road, Bengaluru. It is being conducted under the aegis of the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), Ministry of Defence.
What help will Defence pensioners get at the camp?
Dedicated teams will be available to assist pensioners with SPARSH and pension-related grievances.
This may be particularly useful for pensioners who have a pending SPARSH issue, need guidance regarding their pension records or want direct assistance from officials instead of repeatedly approaching different offices.
The same venue will also provide assistance for submitting the Digital Life Certificate, making the programme useful for pensioners who are uncomfortable completing the process online on their own.
What documents should pensioners carry?
Pensioners attending the programme have been advised to carry relevant original documents so that verification and grievance handling can be completed more easily.
These include:
Who needs to submit a Life Certificate and when?
Pensioners generally submit their annual Life Certificate during November for continuation of pension.
However, pensioners aged 80 years and above are allowed to submit their Life Certificate from 1 October, giving them an additional month to complete the requirement. Pensioners below 80 normally submit it during November.
The broader Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5.0 is being conducted nationwide to make this process easier for pensioners through camps and digital submission facilities.
What if a pensioner cannot attend the Bengaluru camp?
Attending this particular outreach programme is not the only way to submit a Digital Life Certificate.
Defence pensioners who cannot attend the Bengaluru programme can use available SPARSH Service Centres during the campaign. Other authorised Life Certificate and Digital Life Certificate channels also remain available.
Is this a new pension scheme or financial benefit?
No.
This programme does not announce any additional pension, arrears or new monetary benefit.
It is a pension-support initiative designed to help Defence pensioners and family pensioners with:
SPARSH grievances + pension guidance + Digital Life Certificate submission.
For pensioners who already have an unresolved SPARSH matter, the 4–5 November programme provides an opportunity to directly approach the concerned officials with the relevant records.
